Liberto’s Art sample class Acrylic Still Life:
| ACRLYIC STILL LIFE This class will complete one painting of either a floral arrangement in vase or fruit on tabletop within 4 - 6 hours. One session painting provides the basics of the compositional elements used in this still life painting. Setting up and painting quickly is a good way to move through the whole painting process. This will be good training for producing larger paintings later on. The following will be covered: Setting up your still life, and using a still life box Working from a photograph Choosing paint colors Choosing brushes, canvas & palette Finding focal point Blocking out large shapes Mixing colors Canvas coverage Shadows, detail, highlights A supply list will be provided to all students prior to 1st class

· Beginners Handcrafted Soapmaking, $ 40, Ages-Adult., limit 8 students. This is not a demonstration only class. This personalized soapmaking workshop will allow students to participate in the hands-on process of creating a “batch” of natural bar bath soap. All aspects of a cold process castile soap recipe will be demonstrated. Natural colorings, fragrances and botanical additives, preparation of molds, unmolding, cutting and curing will be discussed and demonstrated. Simple recipes will be provided to assist students in their own soapmaking craft. Soapmaking kits with all ingredients to make a personal “batch” of soap will be available to purchase. · Kids Create Fun Soap, Class and materials—$40, Ages 6 and up, limit 8 students. Kid’s will make their own personalized fun soap. They will create a design on paper, place the design on their own chef’s apron and use it while making their own fun soap. Neon colors, soap pieces of all shapes and colors in addition to small rubber toys will be used to create their soap. Kids will also create a Themed Holiday Bar using the next seasonal holiday. They will take home their soap and apron. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. |
